"In the Realm of Sense" is a visual and introspective quest, an exploration through light and a journey of self-discovery. This project unfolds in three acts, each representing a stage in this adventure: a reflection on the connection between humanity, matter, and the world around us. In the first act, I ventured into an unfamiliar territory, both distant and strangely familiar. My aim was to feel the human presence without ever encountering it, capturing that peculiar sensation of absence and mystery.
The second act delves into matter and questions the return to the wild. Through textures, shadows, and the interplay of light, I sought to deconstruct my perceptions of reality and time. This almost instinctive phase allowed me to question the balance between the tangible and the intangible, between what is seen and what is felt. It is a moment where my senses became a prism for deeper reflection on our relationship with space and what feels familiar.
In the third act, an alchemy emerges, fusing the explorations of the first two acts. This synthesis is rooted in the Atlas Mountains of Morocco, a place both familiar and mystical. By rediscovering this territory through a new perspective, I confronted the vastness and the enigmatic, seeking to poeticize the space and translate through imagery this pursuit of uncertainty and raw beauty.
"In the Realm of Sense" presents itself as a visual essay, revealing my sensitivity to a world of countless faces. Through the exploration of territories, sometimes emotional, it carries the ambition of being swept away by the sublime.
